Hi dear students,

In this link you will find a very simple exercise, but the song has a very important message, even more now that you had the idea of visiting people who are in trouble.

WEBQUEST:

A webquest is an activity in which you have to find information related to a topic to answer some questions by just surfing the web. The answers can be gotten from one single page or from several pages. Today, you will answer some questions about HUMAN CLONING; the link to the article where you can find the answers is this one:

http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/life/genetic/human-cloning.htm

1. What did a group of Scottish scientists achieve in 1997?

2. For what will some people be willing to pay a fortune?

3. What does the author say about why scientists are working so eagerly on that project?

4. What procedure will be used to clone human beings and what has the method been used for previously?

5. Who will a cell be taken from?

6. Who will provide the egg?

7. What diseases might be cured through genetic engineering?

8. What moral/ethical question do critics ask?

9. Why is one of Dolly’s co-creators opposed to human cloning?

Please don’t forget to do the evaluation of the visit to the Multimedia Lab in the following link:
